This autumn, The Glades and Greener & Cleaner is proud to support Wrap Up London 2026, an annual charity campaign organised by HandsOn London, helping to provide warm coats to people who need them most.

From 16th October until 9th November, we’re inviting our Bromley community to donate their pre-loved coats and jackets at The Glades, giving them a second life while helping people facing homelessness, poverty and other difficult circumstances.

A Small Donation Can Make a Big Difference

As temperatures drop, a warm coat becomes an everyday essential. But for many people across London, having suitable winter clothing isn’t always possible.

Since launching in 2011, Wrap Up London has collected over 250,000 warm coats, bringing communities together to support those most vulnerable during the colder months.

Donated coats are distributed through a network of over 100 charities and community organisations, supporting people sleeping rough, families experiencing financial hardship, women in sheltered accommodation and children living in poverty.

By donating a coat you no longer need, you can help someone stay warm while also reducing waste and giving clothing a second life.

What Can You Donate?

We’re collecting:

• Warm winter coats and jackets for adults and children
• Clean, wearable coats in good condition
• Pre-loved coats that are ready to be worn and enjoyed by someone else

Please make sure all donated items are clean, in good condition and suitable for keeping someone warm during winter.

Where and When Can You Donate?

Collection dates: 16 October – 9 November 2026

You can drop off your pre-loved coats and jackets at two locations within The Glades:

📍 Greener & Cleaner Hub – Main Collection Point

• Monday: 10am–6pm
• Tuesday & Wednesday: Closed
• Thursday – Saturday: 10am–6pm
• Sunday: 11am–5pm

📍 The Guest Service Lounge

Open daily during The Glades’ regular opening hours:

• Monday – Saturday: 9am–7pm
• Sunday: 11am–5pm

If the Greener & Cleaner Hub is closed, don’t worry! You can still drop off your donations at our Guest Services Lounge.

Simply bring along your clean, pre-loved winter coats and jackets and help us keep London warm this winter!
