The Best of Bromley

Autumn in Bromley has a special kind of energy. The crisp air, vibrant leaves, and the town’s sense of community all create something warm and inviting.

This season, we’re thrilled to celebrate Bromley’s unique spirit through a collaboration we’re sure you’ll enjoy: Bromley FC and the latest autumn fashion from The Glades.

Welcome to “The Best of Bromley”.

On a sunny day at Bromley FC’s stadium, players from both the men’s and women’s teams joined us to showcase great style and the passion for football that defines our community. We also caught up with some of the players to chat about their experiences on the pitch, their love for the game, and, of course, their must-have autumn fashion picks!

Danny Imray: "It’s All About the Fans"

For Danny, football in Bromley is as much about the people as it is about the game. “Our fans are the heart of this club,” he says. “You see the same faces every match, hear the same cheers, and it just gives you that extra push on the pitch.” Danny loves how Bromley comes alive during autumn, especially around match days. “There’s this buzz in the air when the  seasons change, and everyone is bundled up, ready to watch us play.”

Beyond football, Danny is known for his standout sense of style. “I love using fashion to express myself,” he says. “I enjoy putting together bold looks that grab attention, whether it’s a cool jacket or some fresh trainers. Style is a way to show your personality without saying a word.”

Quick Fire Q: What’s your favourite thing about autumn football?

Danny: “The atmosphere. It feels more intense, more connected – especially when you’re out there under the floodlights with the fans cheering you on.”

Kamarl Grant: "Football, Community, and Laughter"

Kamarl Grant is known not only for his skills on the pitch but also for his infectious personality. Whether he’s cracking jokes with his teammates or engaging with fans, Kamarl’s energy is hard to miss. “For me, football is about passion, but also about enjoying every moment and making people smile,” he says.

He loves the close-knit community of Bromley FC. “The fans here are something special. They show up rain or shine, and that support really drives us on the field. It feels like family.”

Quick Fire Q: How did you find the modelling experience?

Kamarl: “I had a great time! The shoot was full of laughs, and everyone was so nice. I really wanted to keep the jumper I wore – but they wouldn’t let me!”

Ellie Bovill: "Balancing Football and Family"

Ellie Bovill brings her passion for football to Bromley FC, along with the experience of being a mother. Balancing life on and off the pitch, Ellie exemplifies resilience and strength. “It’s not always easy,” she admits, “but I’m fortunate to have a strong support system. Football is my outlet, and I love being able to show my child the importance of pursuing your passions.”

When it comes to fashion, Ellie is all about practicality with a touch of style. “Being a mum means I need pieces that are easy to move in, but still make me feel good. The Glades has something for every part of my life – from football training to a day out with my family.”

Quick Fire Q: Was this your first time modelling, and how did you enjoy the experience?

Ellie: “Yes, it was my first time! I was a bit nervous, but it was so much fun. I got to wear these gorgeous ballet flats from Dune, but they were just a little too small, so it’s good that I didn’t have to run in the field in them! But honestly, the outfits were amazing, especially the red vest from Mint Velvet – perfect for autumn.
